Angle steel tower is a plate column with downcomer. The bubbling area is composed of angle steel in parallel with each other, and the arrangement direction of angle steel is parallel to the direction of liquid flow. The sharp edge of the angle steel is in the lower part, and the cross section is in the shape of "V". There is a certain grid gap between the two adjacent angle steels. The downcomer is the same as the common tray. The liquid in the upper plate flows into the "V" angle steel through the downcomer, while the gas bubbles with the liquid when it rises through the grid gap, and the gas-liquid flow state on the tray is similar to that on the sieve plate. The results show that the pressure drop of angle steel tray is small, the gas exchange capacity is large, the tray efficiency is good, the structure is simple, the processing and manufacturing is convenient, and the rigidity is good. However, the efficiency of the sieve plate tower is not as good as that of the sieve plate tower when the treatment capacity is small.The angle steel tower is generally used in the field, and the steel pipe pole and steel pipe narrow base tower are generally used in the urban area because the floor area is smaller than the angle steel tower.
